Name: Ariana Miritar aka Astra

Birth Date: 28/2/1990
Age: 18
Hair: She has red hair that is shorter at the front and longer at the back. She wears clips in her hair in order to keep the fringe off her face.
Eyes: Her eyes are a blue green colour and seem to be rather empty or cold most of the time. When she uses her powers they turn a slight purple colour.
Appearance: She has red hair that is shorter at the front and longer at the back. She wears clips in her hair in order to keep the fringe off her face. Astra is of average height (around 1.78m) for her age. She has a slight figure but at the same time she can look rather strong. Her skin is slightly tanned although not so much that it is obvious.
Her face hardly ever looks warm, meaning that she doesn't really show a heartfelt smile all that often, usually it's more of a cold smile or even a manipulative one, however, if she does ever smile properly then it is one that does indeed light up her face. Only her family has ever actually seen this before as they are the only people that she's truly happy to be around. Her eyes are a blue green colour and have a very cold look to them which is the key to her cold and calculating appearance.
She mostly wears a short black dress (With long sleeves) with black tights underneath it and black boots which run up to her mid calf. However when she knows that she is going to fight or do something similar she wears black trousers and joggers along with a white tee-shirt. With both of these outfits she also occasionally wears a black jacket which reaches the back of her knees. It has a hood and a zip.

Personality: Astra is rather calm and mostly quiet. She likes to listen to people and can be quite kind to them. However at the same time she can be cold and even conniving although in a way that is difficult to detect. The way she talks often makes it difficult to decipher whether she's being sarcastic or not. Also, usually when she makes a joke about something people only figure out that it's a joke when she informs them of this fact as it can be extremely difficult to tell from her tone of voice or face.
She is not a cold blooded killer as she chooses to harm people who annoy her instead. No one could make her so angry that she'd want to kill them no matter how badly they treat her. Slowly she is being led astray by the people in the Brotherhood but she doesn't believe them completely. She knows that there are humans who do not accept them but she doesn't believe that this is the case with all humans. Her family keep her from believing this completely.
When Astra first meets people who she thinks are a) stronger than her b) have a good heart she will generally act as she used to, happy, kind, interested in what they do. Eventually though something will happen that will let the other person know the truth about her. This may be on the first day of meeting one another or, as long as a month later.
Most people that don’t know her would think that she was a sweet young girl but those that do know her know a little better than that. She’s not overly evil though and she does have a heart, it’s just that she has been led down the wrong path a few times. Perhaps one day she will be able to change.

Background: Ariana was born to Dawn and Jack Miritar. She had four other siblings all who were older than her. Kari (19), Dimitri(22), Will (22) and Selina(24). Her family were, and still are very close. When Ariana was 5 Selina began developing powers and soon after Dimitri started developing his. (Powers will be listed below). Her parents thought that there was something wrong with their children until they spoke to someone called Professor Xavier.
Selina, and Dimitri went off to school and learnt how to control their powers while Will, Ariana and Kari stayed back home. Kari became the smart one while Ariana started being led down the wrong path. She didn’t really do many terrible things to people but just went along with what her friends did. She grew bitter and eventually her powers started to develop.
Her ‘friends’ left her and she became quiet and slightly cold in the way she saw people. The only one who could talk to her was Will and eventually he left to go to College. Her parents decided that once she finished high school they would send her to the School that Dimitri and Selina had attended, (both were now attending the same college as Will) Even though they thought she might be too old to be a student there however they asked Charles Xavier about it and he simply stated that their school was to help people like Ariana. Ariana heard about this and became angry, angry that her parents were deciding her future for her.
She voiced her opinions and instead of going to ‘Xavier’s school for the gifted’ She went to the college that her sister attended in America. Again she was lead down the wrong path when she met a member of the Brotherhood who convinced her to lodge with them for a while until she decided to leave and rent an apartment in the city nearby the university she chose to study at. She wanted to study music, something she had always loved and never really changed when she found out that she was a mutant.
She still loves her family and gets along with them far better now that she lives away from them than what she did when she lived with them. She speaks to them often and also occasionally meets up with them to talk or just hang out as though they were good friends.
She is currently studying music in University. She is also working in a restaurant close yo where she lives.

Powers: She can control Gravity like the gravity surrounding objects. She can make the object have a gravitational pull that does not affect the Earth. Therefore, She can switch the gravitational pull that the Earth has over a wall for example and this will allow her to walk up the wall as though she was walking on the ground. She can also make the gravitational pull of the Earth on someone more or less either crushing them (or causing pain) or levitating them. This includes herself, however she can not completely change the gravitational pull of Earth or any other planet at this moment in time. Often when she is not concentrating on her powers completely she will gather objects around her that then proceed to orbit. This is often found to be rather amusing to other mutants that she knows. She can also fly into space and not be harmed by the vacuum because she is so used to being in zero gravity. This is an adaptation that she had gained through use of her powers.
Strengths: She doesn't really care about what people think about her and does take care of herself quite well. She is a reasonable fighter and knows what to do in such a situation...
Weaknesses: She is headstrong and opinionated, Her powers are not really trained enough for her to use them in a fight, she usually just uses them to get places quiker. She doesn't really know who to trust and is often led down the wrong path. She also has a bit of an issue with the moon, when the moon is out the control of her powers gets weaker. She can still fly and walk on walls but she can not manipulate the gravity around others. She thinks it might be because the Moon has a slight gravitational pull over them and she has difficulty shifting the gravitational pull of the moon away from them.

Anything else you'd like to add: She made it through high school and finished at the age of 17. When she turned 18 she moved from France to America to continue her studies there. She is a fluent speaker of English and is currently studying music as she plays the violin, piano, flute and saxophone.

Sample RP: It was midday, one of the worst times of the day. The streets were bustling with people and life in general. This was probably partly due to the fact that it was also a weekend, So, Naturally, there were children and teenagers out in the city. Shopping, Wandering or even just Hanging out... And that was why this part of the city was virtually empty, no one had to be here so therefore, they weren't. It was a rough part of town and generally the only ones who actually went out were the ones who made it a rough town. It wasn't all that bad though, There was a nice sky out today...
Astra rolled her eyes and stood up stretching her back as she did so hearing the snaps in her bones as she did so. She looked around herself for a few seconds taking in what was around her. By the looks of things not all that much. She shrugged and began walking... only she wasn't exactly walking on the same path as everyone else. She was being, individual today, well most days she was an individual so it didn't make much of a difference to her however to an onlooker it might strike them as odd to see someone walking along the wall of a building as easily as they would a footpath.
"Man I'm bored..." She thought vaguely as she paused and turned to walk down the wall reaching the ground.
She switched the gravitational pull over her back to the ground again so that she was now once again grounded. She sighed and folded her arms as she began to walk in the general direction of the main street. It wasn't quite so easy for her or any mutant for that matter to get away with using their powers on such a street, well you could get away with it if you had a death wish... But that was a different matter. She stopped and turned to look in a shop window as a few police cars drove past as did many others along the street, but there were those who had no fear of Authority whatsoever those were the ones you had to look out for. She shifted her eyes over to the others hearing raised voices just one block down.
"Finally, Some excitement" She thought smirking and practically skipping down the path towards the sound of the hostilities.
